This is from a friend and fellow Heathen parent. Bert Figard-Peck. Due to the 21st century’s method of insurance, she has been dropped and denied her coverage for a life threatening condition.
I set up this account to help my daughter raise some of the expenses needed for medications needed to try and stay healthy, until we can figure out how/where to get her on insurance, since hers was cancelled 8 days before the surgery to fix her kidney.
Even a dollar helps at this point. I needed to find a way to help her cover anti-biotic meds, this is the only way I can think of to help her.

Sorry for the late up date between 14 hours days 5 days a week, FFA and Boy scouts I need to find 3 more hours a day. But this week, we finish the teaser of low lore we started last week. Robert L. Schreiwer, member of the Troth has written this book, A Dictionary of Urglaawe Terminology. This book is a repository of the terms, concepts, symbols and mythological references used in the Heathen path of Urglaawe. The entries include the cultural values, spiritual awareness, and wisdom carried through the centuries in the oral lore of the healing practice of Braucherei. Included in the entries are traditions and customs that are part of the living Deitsch, — Pennsylvania German or Pennsylvania Dutch — folk culture. Adherents to Heathen paths, including Ásatrú, Irminenschaft, Theodism, Forn Sidr, Odinism, and other traditions, will find these entries useful as they provide another voice to the totality of the Teutonic folk experience. This is not totally Recon, but it is fascinating , and brings out a new facet of Heathenry: one of American lore.

Once again we are honored to continue our discussions with Dr. Karl E. H. Seigfried, publisher of the Norse Mythology Blog. We ran a bit over, time-wise, but we were having such a good time with Karl that we couldn’t bring ourselves to stop.

Some of you may have noticed the new media player and download links on some posts. I am slowly adding these to the previous archives. I should also hopefully get new content ready in this manner, after I do some editting and cleanup on the files.
Please bear with me while I make these changes to (hopefully) improve the site and make it more usable for all.

Ostara, Eostre, Walpurgisnacht, Beltane, and other spring holidays. Which ones do we celebrate? Are they ‘genuine’? Who swiped the holiday from whom, and when? And does it really matter, if we all like a good party?
